The Dragon's Enchantment page 16

Chapter 2: Family
“Gather the clothing and the small crowns from the upper level,” announced King Omni the next day. It was seven moons before Summers Eve, bright and beautiful. “Bring the tents waiting in the stables. Get ready to travel. Guards! Cooks! Guides! Servants! Orfa, bring a new scroll. Today is the day!”

Luca heard this while finishing his breakfast in the dining hall. When he entered the foyer, he saw servants rustling about, carrying blankets, clothes, and other items out the castle doors.

Luca’s eyes opened wide, seeing how large the parade had become. He saw King Omni heading straight to his horse, which was being held by a groom. The King easily swung up on the horse’s back.

“Now you will see what you will be helping me with, Luca,” the King said on his prancing horse.
