King Omni jumped up. Before the dragon knew what was
happening, the King sprinted to the waterfall wall. He started to climb the
wall and heading for the hole where the water was cascading.
Luca dared not shoot
fire at the King and chance ruining the coveted necklace. He tried flying up to
where the King was climbing, but he feared that if his wings were to get wet, he
might lose his ability to fly and possibly fall to the ground.
As the King climbed
up toward the hole at the top of the falls, the waters around him turned bright
red from the blood flowing out of his wounded shoulder and arm. He did not
realize that the red worked its way up and out into the sea itself. When the King
rose out of the chasm and into the sea, he took the amulet and touched the
water over the hole. “Close,” he said.
The whirlpool
caused by the hole, suddenly stopped. The remaining water of sea began to
change color. The bloody water turned to a golden hue. The sea water also
changed the King’s armor into white gold.
It was now bright in color and lighter in weight. King Omni touched his
right hand with the amulet and watched as it instantly healed. Next he used it
to touch his shoulder, and it too healed and was strong again.
